The annual Housing and Homelessness Advocacy Day in Olympia is Thursday, February 2. We're super excited to have the grassroots tech community representing itself on these issues in Olympia for the first time ever.
The day itself consists of workshops, rallies, meetings with your lawmakers, lunch, and more. It's a chance to learn about the issues and voice your support for abundant and affordable housing directly to lawmakers and leaders. As an organization, it's a chance to make ourselves known and start building relationships with elected officials and other housing organizations.
We'll rent a car or van, depending on how many people we have, and we'll carpool down together. Expect to meet up at 7:30am and be on the road by7:45am in order by arrive and finish checking in by 9:30am. The program runs till 3:30pm, so expect to be back in Seattle around 5:30pm.
Email us at contact@seattletech4housing.org if you'd like to join.
