Democracy Voucher Party for Teresa Mosqueda

  • Optimism Brewing 1158 Broadway Seattle, WA, 98122 United States (map)

Please join Seattle Tech 4 Housing for a democracy voucher party for Seattle City Council candidate Teresa Mosqueda at Optimism Brewing on March 29th. We will be joined by the candidate herself for a great conversation on housing, transit, and the future of our city.

There will be beer, food truck food, and a (very limited amount of!) home baked cookies.

Please RSVP here: https://www.facebook.com/events/191009538061463/

Here's why we're asking you to support Teresa:

  • she was a leader on drafting and passing statewide minimum wage and paid sick leave.

  • she's a renter who has spoken strongly about the need for vibrant, walkable neighborhoods with a wider variety of housing choices.

  • she's already endorsed by a long list of progressive leaders, including US Rep. Pramila Jayapal, WA Attorney General Bob Ferguson, Luitenant Governor Cyrus Habib, Senate Minority Leader Sharon Nelson, House Speaker Frank Chopp, King County Executive Dow Constantine, former King County Executive Ron Sims, Estela Ortega of El Centro de la Raza, Seattle City Councilmembers Sally Bagshaw and Lorena González, and many labor groups.

This very early stage of the race is when our support matters most. A strong turnout now will help create a lasting relationship with Teresa. Plus, if you wait too long, your Democracy Vouchers may no longer be valid—there's a fixed pool of money, and when its used up all of the unused vouchers become worthless. Don't wait!
